C. Evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice on a regular basis to make effective use of existing and emerging digital tools and resources in support of student learning
In class, we were asked to view a series of videos and reflect on them. This made me more aware of the things that teachers need to focus on in their classrooms. There were real- life situations that allowed for thorough reflection on my part, and what the teacher or parent could have done to prevent some of the tragedies or occurrences from happening. I think that it is important to reflect on current research, actual situations, and on your own experiences to further your growth in education. This will eventually allow for teacher growth and support of student learning. I plan to continue to reflect on current research as well as my own experiences so that I can further my growth as an educator. Although I do not always do this, I think that it is a good method and will try to do this more.
